Mike & Gilly – your hosts

A friendly and down to earth couple with a cat called Millie.
We both work in the city and enjoy walking the hills around Wellington in our spare time.  Having traveled ourselves, we love meeting people from all around the world.  Over the years we have hosted a variety of international students, and of course many guests here at Style in Ngaio – and we look forward to meeting you.

Location

Located in Colway Street, Ngaio, Wellington, New Zealand.
Colway Street is a peaceful and quiet, tree-lined street in a very good neighbourhood, only 10 minutes drive from Wellington City CBD and shopping Precinct.

Interaction with Guests

Don’t hesitate to contact us for anything about your stay. We can recommend restaurants and cafes in the local area (or CBD), point you in the right direction for activities, or even do your washing if you need it (for a fee of $20).

Getting Around

Everything is very conveniently located. A drive into the CBD takes around 10 minutes.  Awarua train station is 5 minutes walk away.  This is the 3rd stop on the Johnsonville line, from Wellington Central station and a 10 minute train ride into the city.  There are 2 bus stops on Colway Street for the # 45 bus (operating Monday-Friday 7.00am-9.30am and 4.00pm-6.30pm).  The # 43 bus operates 7 days a week with a convenient bus stop at the intersection of Quetta Street/Cockayne Rd, 10 minutes walk away.  Turn left along Colway Street, turn right at Bombay Street then take the staircase to Quetta Street.
